The coordinator of the NSP, Prof. Svetoslav Georgiev
took part in the 17th Green and Energy Forum
On May 19, the 17th Green and Energy Forum was held at the Inter Expo Center.
If you thought geopolitics was complicated, this year’s topics raised the bar even higher:
How rare earth elements are quietly rewriting the global map;
The risks facing climate adaptation in a (unfortunately) divided world;
And the eternal question: how Bulgaria is navigating its energy transition—which brakes are holding it back and which engines are driving it forward.
In the second discussion panel, "Oil, Gas, and Rare Earth Elements at the Center of Geopolitical Interests and Where Bulgaria Positions Itself," a stellar lineup of experts joined forces in search of answers. The discussion featured Prof. Dr. Svetoslav Georgiev, Director of the Geological Institute of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (BAS), alongside Mr. Preslav Raykov (Magic Flame Group), Mr. Plamen Dimitrov (Bulgarian Geopolitical Society), and Mr. Boyan Rashev (founder of the "Mind Your Future" platform).
All of this was kept in a perfect balance thanks to the panel's moderator—the Editor-in-Chief of Manager magazine, Ms. Tanya Krasteva.
Our heartfelt thanks to the entire team at Manager magazine for the invitation and the flawless organization, and to Mr. Hristo Hristov for capturing the event in such magnificent photographs!
